MEET OUR SPEAKERS
A taste of Focus 2026.
Sarah is the CEO of the Revitalise Trust, which provides training and support for the 194 church plants and revitalizations in the HTB network, including us.
She was the one who crunched the stats which pointed to radical church decline in the UK and worked out the number of church plants which were needed to reverse this decline.
Her work has been instrumental for church growth in the UK.
Her husband, Tom, leads Love Your Neighbour, which is a key element of the Revitalise Trust.
Jesus is word and action, and therefore calls us to follow in his footsteps. Alpha is a hugely powerful tool for evangelism, but is weighted towards sharing the gospel in word.
Love Your Neighbour provides the important counterweight in facilitating love in action.

Tshepo Kabutu
Tshepo Kabutu is a husband, father, creative, songwriter, worship leader, and the National Youth Lead for Alpha South Africa.
He is passionate about forming worshippers and raising a new generation of leaders. Through Alpha, Tshepo equips churches, schools, and communities to create safe spaces where young people can explore faith, ask big questions, and discover their God-given purpose.
Through music, Tshepo carries a fresh and authentic worship sound, blending Worship, Christian, and Gospel influences. Songs like Sibiz’igama lakho have opened doors to meaningful collaborations and powerful moments of worship and impact.
He has recently co-founded More Than A Song sessions, a creative hub helping young worshippers write Gospel-centred music that reaches people beyond the stage.
At the core of it all, Tshepo is driven by faith, hope, and a passion to see the next generation encounter Jesus.
John Atkinson
John Atkinson was a minister at CCK (1990 - 2008) and a missionary for the Church’s Ministry among the Jewish people (CMJ-South Africa) (2009 - 2023).
He is also a Bible teacher both in church and academic contexts and the author of Indelible Connections: Jewish Roots in Perspective.
He will be taking us for a deep dive into the Scriptures in our Wake Up with the Word sessions at Focus 2026.
